I'm not an attorney but Aileen Cannon said she will be aggressive when scheduling future court dates, citing she wants the documents case to go to trial and be finished in September. I'm quoting her. By the way, I'm a Democrat and one that greatly dislikes the Republican Party which has driven itself and our democracy into a great big ditch. I am jaded about Florida politics, but let's wait and see what Cannon does before we make sweeping judgements about her reliability. She may have learned her lesson after being knocked down by Georgia's 11 District Court of Appeals. One must consider she doesn't want to completely trash her career as a federal judge. Remember, this is the district that prides itself for its "rocket docket" promise of a speedy trial. I may sound naive, but one can hope Cannon will do the right thing, can't one?
