Navy detected possible sound of submersible implosion



The Navy has confirmed to NBC News it detected sounds consistent with an implosion or an explosion through an underwater acoustic listening device. NBC’s Tom Costello reports.

  2. If it imploded why is there a debris field? Would the sub still not basiclaly be in one piece . Isnt implosion like crushing a can in on itself ? Would it still not pretty much still be in one piece after the implosion ?

The only person I feel sympathy for on that submarine was the 19 year old and thats only because he didn't want to go in the first place. 250k is some people's life savings and this was nothing but chump change to the people on that boat.     Everyone obviously wants to give condolences and sympathies to the families, of these three British citizens and the one Frenchman who have been killed in this missing civilian underwater tourist passenger (so called deep diving) submersible.

    Which was an experimental manned underwater vehicle after all, that was not approved or licensed under any countries Maritime Safety Agency or Department of Transport, or by the likes of the Coastguard Services too.

    As Titanic director James Cameron is saying to the international news media now, yes one of the fatalities is the OceanGate own American CEO's himself which is an equally a sad lose too.

    Who was piloting this Titan submersible, which is now lost and destroyed totally, with crushed remains and bits of this submersible laying over the Noth Atlantic Ocean floor right next the Titanic shipwreck now too

    The fact are coming clear now OceanGate CRO was both recklessness with others lives, he and his company equally deliberately ignored personal and officially recorded plus open warnings from internationally respected underwater and submersible or ROV and AUV’s experts.

    As well as from the international naval submariners community too, who between them have and had decades or years of knowledge, expertise and underwater diving and use of manned submersibles and submarines experiences too!

    There mere fact that the CEO of OceanGate and this Titan submersible captain at the time of this underwater disaster too, just unheeded all of these has to be invested by some countries Government and Legal authorities.

    The question is which Countries Governments and which of their Legal Authorities, even have the right to hold an official enquiry or open a coroners hearing into the deaths of those onboard the Titan submersible now?

    Is it the Government of United States, or the Canadian Government or both of them, or is also possible the Governments of the United Kingdom and France will hold separate investigations and public enquiries equally, or even the Pakistan Government now too

    As citizens from all these countries were killed, in this Titan submersible disaster.

    Also the mother ship for OceanGate Titan submersible operations, over the Titanic shipwreck in the North Atlantic Ocean, is a Canadian registered ship.

    Then OceanGate private company, is American registered Company, with offices in Washington State it seems too.

    Lastly the Titanic shipwreck is technically a British shipwreck in International Waters, some 400 nautical miles off the Canadian Eastern Seaboard and some 900 nautical miles off American Eastern Seaboard, plus over 12,000 to near 13,000 feet down on th North Atlantic Ocean floor too.

    Now with another shipwreck or American submersible wreckage, laying next to the Titanic shipwreck, with 5 more dead bodies joining already over 1,490 or upto 1,635 men, women and children or their remains laying somewhere on the Ocean floor.

    Who died onboard the sinking Titanic on the night of the 14th of April and into the early hours of the 15th of April 1912, which happen just over 110 years 2 months and 2 days before the Titan submersible disaster over the Titanic took place too.

    There are some striking similarities, between the lost of the White Star RMS Titanic in 1912, then the lost of the OceanGate Titan submersibles in 2023.

    Both caused it seems, by individual man thinking they knew better than others, or down to their own foolishness, self pride and a great deal of arrogances too.

    Also another question, sooner or later the International News Media, orcornors court hearing, or public enquiry hearing, or courts of laws, plus the lawyers for family members of those killed too.

    All will be asking if all internationally respected underwater and submersible or ROV and AUV’s experts, were making all these personal and officially recorded it seems too, plus open public warnings about safety issue with the Titan Submersible.

    As well as these coming from the international naval submariners community too, who between them all have and had decades or years of knowledge, expertise and underwater diving and use of manned submersibles and submarines experiences too!

    Why did the Governments in Canadian, American, even in Europe or at the United Nations, ignored these safety issues being public raised by experts in their field?

    Some of which were aired on public news media and/or on social media too, for all to see and read or watch and listen too?

    That Politicians and Government Officials, plus international Maritime Safety Agencies personnel, or Coastguard Services Admirals and Naval Admirals, have been aware of too but did nothing officially about it seems.

    So is there some blame here, for this Titan Submersible disaster in the North Atlantic Ocean, will have to fall on the American’s and Canadian’s Government or its Politicians too?

    Or some blame must falling on the American and Canadian, on either their Maritime Safety Agencies, as wellas the US and Canadian Coastguard Services, maybe their Navy’s too?

    Now with Titan Submersible disaster, basically laying in bits on the ocean floor, with 5 dead bodies somewhere which may never be found either?

    Or what remains of their bodies never be found, after a a sudden massive and catastrophic implosion caused by deep water pressure caused the Titan Submersible to collapse in milliseconds!

    Like child throwing a plastic bag full of water against a wall or other children, then exploring on contact with them and water going everywhere!

    However, this was a manned submersible crushed to nothing, that took place somewhere between 12,000 to 13,000 feet down in the North Atlantic Ocean, killing 4 adult men and a teenager too.

    The governments involved, are going to face in the coming days, weeks, months, even years tough questions over the Titan Submersible disaster, especially over these safety issues!

    As they seem to go back many years, at least to before the Titan Submersible even went into the water for the first time, or while test dives were being carried out in much shallower waters too!

    That is all before this Titan Submersible disaster happen this week, in or around Sunday or Monday June 2023 it seems, now very much proving these experts well and publicly stated concerns, fear and worries of safety issues with the Titan Submersible were all justified!

    James Cameron is an underwater expert himself, then there are all the other internationally respected underwater and submersible or ROV and AUV’s experts, plus members of the international naval submariners community too.

    Are all calling for better and stronger Maritime Safety Agencies Rules, Regulations and Legislations, from International Governments and their Politician, even maybe from the United Nations too

    As we are talking mostly with regard the deep ocean floor and seabed’s, of so called International Waters of the World Oceans and Sea, where these underwater operations are and would taking place.

    So all operations and use of civilian use of manned and unmanned submersibles, submarines, ROV’s and AUV’s or EXLUUV’s too, would require an international or National Maritime Underwater Deep Diving Operators Licenses basically!

    In others words licenses for owner operators, or companies, licenses for their pilots and support personnel too.

    Similarly licenses for their civilian support surface vessels or mother ships, licenses equally for their civilian manned and unmanned submersibles, submarines, ROV’s and AUV’s or EXLUUV’s too.

    Along with all personnel involved, needs the correct qualification and training, including emergency training too. As well as the necessary expertise and knowledge, plus working experiences too!

    Lastly have current safety certificates for all their civilian manned and unmanned submersibles, submarines, ROV’s and AUV’s or EXLUUV’s, or devices, equipment and systems,

    Also the owners operators or companies, are keep proper maintenance and serving logbooks for everything too.

    As well as keeping proper damages and faulty list records, plus when necessary and what repairs were carried out or replacement parts were installed their records of too, as required in the civilian aviation industry.

    Lastly when every after dive safety inspection was carried out and was anything found, or weekly, monthly and year safety inspections were carried and anything found again.

    There are full records of all of this, which the likes of Coastguard Services Officers or Naval Officers, who are carrying out surprise onboard safety inspection at sea, have access to and can check on.

    Or Maritime Safety Agencies Safety Inspectors, equally have access and can check on these records. When carrying routine safety inspection, with regards issuing a new safety operators licenses.

    So can operate far out to sea, plus carry fee paying underwater tourist passengers, down 1,000 metres, or down as far as 5,000 metres, or even as far down as over 10,000 metres, to the bottom of the world’s oceans and Seas

    The Pacific Ocean is the deepest ocean in the world, with an average depth of 4,820 m (14,020 ft).

    Other than being the deepest ocean overall in the world, the Pacific Ocean has the deepest point in the world.

    The deepest point in the planet, found in the Mariana Trench, is at nearly 11,000 m (35,797 ft).

    Southern Ocean average depth is 3,882 metres.

    Indian Ocean average depth is 3,960 metres.

    Atlantic Ocean average depth is 3,646 metres.

    Arctic Ocean average depth is 1,038 metres.

  21. Maybe all civilian manned submersible and submarines, should have a maximum depth rating by Ocean they will operate in, that is under new international maritime safety laws, all countries of the United Nations would be asked and expected to sign upto!

    In other words a Pacific class civilian manned submersible to operate in the Pacific Ocean, would have to be rated at over a third more than the 11,000 m (35,797 ft) of the Mariana Trench.

    Basically a Pacific class submersible would need to be rate down to a depth of 14,667 metres, so able to withstand water pressures far greater than at 11,000 metres depth of the Mariana Trench.!

    Or a Atlantic class civilian manned submersible to operate in the Atlantic Ocean, has to be rated at over a third more than the 8,378m of the Brownson Deep.

    So again a Atlantic class submersible would need to be rate down to a depth of 11,271 metres, so able to withstand water pressures far greater than at 8,378 metres depth of the Brownson Deep!

    Equally different classifications of maximum depth rating for a manned submersible, to operate safely in either the Indian Ocean and its Java Trench, which is some 7,187 metres / 23579 feet deep.

    Or for the Southern Ocean and its South Sandwich Trench, which is 24,383 feet / 7,432 metres deep to the ocean floor. Equally for the Arctic Ocean and its Molloy Deep or Hole, which is at its deepest some 5,550 m / 18,210 ft down to the ocean floor too!

    The Molloy Deep (also known as the Molloy Hole) is a bathymetric feature in the Fram Strait, within the Greenland Sea east of Greenland and about 160 km west of Svalbard within the Arctic Ocean region and not that far from the Titanic shipwreck site too.

    The Molloy Deep outer rim of the trench is at a depth of 2,700 m (8,900 ft) and contains about 600 km2 inside the rim, descending to approximately 5,550 m (18,210 ft) at its greatest depth too.

    Just a suggestion, from an outsider here, who has family members who are submariners too.

  23. A good way to fake your death I'd say. I wonder if Stockton rush is enjoying his new life ? Let's just imagine he sabotaged the submersible and bailed at the last second having Someone fill in for him and it didnt matter because there would be no witnesses or bodies to recover. 🫡 He was being sued by a lot of people. He was potentially facing jail time for multiple accounts of fraud and he was an extremely shady person. Just ask the whistleblower he fired for raising concern about the safety of the vessel in the first place. Go do your own research. It's unsettling how possible this theory is.
