Affirmative action is not just about race. It also includes gender, sexuality, and nationality. This coverage is curiously race-specific & seems to be focusing on interviews with black individuals despite the actual issue at hand being discrimination against Asian Americans. NBC really needs to work on their balancing act.

Affirmative Action largely benefits white women. They get to remove the race part of it, and white women will continue to benefit from the gender set-asides.
Giving one group of people an unfair advantage means discrimination against white males who haven’t done anything wrong. We must judge by qualities and not gender or race.
