I live in Youngstown Ohio 26 miles away and I haven't felt rights since the derailment.. Started with itchy eyes and a burning in my throat and its been one lung infection after another ever since… All the lungers around here call it the East Palestine Syndrome

Remember the movie White noise? In that film a train crashed in Ohio, leaking hazardous chemicals causing a huge fire and black cloud of smoke. They actually hired local people as extras who were then affected by this recreation.
Really they don't know what happened. They overloaded the train. 150 cars . 1 or two people on train . Bearings failed . end of story. They did it to make a bigger profit. Now the people who own the property in East Palestine will absorb the loss. I'm sure JD VAnce and the Republicans are outraged. Probably not since they lobbied the Trump administration to remove the safety precautions.
