A study at the University of Illinois, Chicago, determined that intermittent fasting was just as effective as counting calories to lose weight.   2. Will remember this when my sister in law gets annoying, and starts impolite chatter about dieting at the dinner table. And will promptly remind her that I only eat 1-2 small meals a day and am still fat. Lol

  3. Big Pharma will push back against these studies, intermittent fasting also cures people of TYPE 2 diabetes, which will cut into the Big Pharma profits.
