I’m a Democrat. And while I abhor most GOP policy choices (especially austerity measures), given the options AFTER Biden, I might consider voting for Liz Cheney. She seems like she’s much more open to actually solving the problems facing this nation like student loan debt, healthcare, housing, and inflation. It might rankle the GOP, but we’ve GOT to get money back into the hands of the masses or there IS no economy. That means leveling massive taxes against the rich and corporations a la FDR. It worked before, it will work again. I think we’ve seen enough of the military industrial complex to know it wasn’t WWII that made America. We did that DESPITE the war, not because of it.
After the big orange buffoon is held accountable, Liz Cheney should at the very least run for Vice-President, if not President.

I would never vote GOP but she is impressive. My prediction: Trump gets GOP nomination and loses election. Biden gives him a pardon so he doesn't go to jail. Liz Cheney runs in 2028 and wins the presidency with broad bipartisan support. She could be America's first female President. Her rule may be similar to Thatcher and she will be despised but she is a formidable force.
I’m no supporter of Liz Cheney but she was right, she still is right, and she is extremely honorable for her beliefs and holds her constitutional oath and love of country above politics. God bless her and keep her safe.

This is just my opinion. This woman could get elected president of the United States in 2024 if she does the right policies. She could appeal to both parties. I think she's great and i'm democrat
It took some time for Liz to decide that honesty and integrity was paramount. She voted with Trump all the way up to the impeachment. Better late than never.
When Liz Chaney speaks the GOP gains a glimmer of hope. And, I bet you Liz is not casting her vote for Donald Trump in 2024.

I have always respected Liz for her intelligence and courage. Now I respect her for being sane. The line of questioning is a HUGE problem.
It is OVERLY pessimistic, misleading inaccurate and FALSE to make overly broad statements like Cheney's message is soundly rejected and what she warned us about the past rings hollow now.
While it is true that persons with a Liz Cheney and Jamie Raskin point of view have challenges.
There's Trump, Steve Bannon, Elon Musk & RFK Jr to name a few.
But sloppy journalism. news reporting, both sides do it and taking short cuts does more harm than good.
Too much of mainstream media needs TO STOP. I get the need to be fair and balanced, honest and holistic in presenting the ENTIRE scenario.
But interview tactics like this reveal a NEED for journalists to move towards more fact-based reality & FAIRNESS.
If you don’t like Liz Chaney, you should see the piece o work that replaced her.

Ms Cheney is correct, you cannot take for granted because Trump is a criminal cult leader that he will not be reelected. Remember most people never thought Trump would win in 2016. He won because many people did not LIKE Clinton. Biden won in 2020 because many people did not like Trump. A rematch of two presidents who won by the default vote is very concerning. We need two different candidates. Even though there is only 3 years separating Biden from Trump, people have been pummeled with the Biden is too old message. Biden needs to step aside NOW and let someone else run while there is time to gather momentum. I truly believe that hillbilly America would vote for Trump even if he were sitting in prison. I can give Trump credit for one thing, he knew his voter base. He knew they were undereducated ("I love the undereducated!") and were incredibly gullible.
