Officials say multiple Rankin County sheriff’s deputies in Mississippi were fired after allegedly torturing, beating and sexually violating Michael Corey Jenkins and Eddie Parker. A civil lawsuit was filed against the deputies, seeking $400 million in compensatory and punitive damages. WLBT’s Quentin Smith reports.

Why are the views so low on every piece of coverage on this story? I’ve seen about 7 or8 videos and all the views were under 3k. It’s like this story is being intentionally hid.

I’m a middle age, middle class, white law abiding citizen of rankin county. Our deputies are a joke, every one! They do smile, interact or have any positive contact with the public. They have been militarized as a authoritarian presence. You have two types, the roided up testosterone infused that are pulling crap like this on the take, then the other half waiting on men to go to work so they can shack up with their wives during the day. Oh how many homes they have wrecked.
