The top countries for United States technical H1B visa holders are India, China, Canada, South Korea, Philippines, UK, Taiwan, Mexico, France, and Pakistan. The vast majority of highly educated people allowed to enter the United States on a technical H1B are from non-Caucasian countries to work in American high tech companies. Americans with useless college degrees trying to pay off their loans while working in low paying jobs. College is for higher learning, but you still need to earn a living.

Affirmative action never said you need to take a less qualified student over a more qualified one. It said you need to take both. When you think about it – its rather stupid to limit the number of paying customers/students. But clearly there were (and still are) some people who would rather play to bias rather than accept additional funding. Money doesn't care about your race or gender, the people running the school do.
Thank goodness for the SCOTUS for having common sense to strike down a pro Jim Crow like law on college campuses.
This "court" is not legitimate. We have five ILLEGITIMATE "justices" on this court. Roberts, Alito, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barret were all appointed by "presidents" who initially or totally lost the popular vote. They do not have the will, honor, standing or backing of a majority or even a plurality of the American people. We have NEVER had an ILLEGITIMATE court in American history. They are too extreme, corrupt, political, dishonest, bias and have the worst approval rating in history. Richard Nixon resigned with a 25% approval rating. That's what this ILLEGITIMATE court has. America it's time to sue. Black Americans are totally discriminated against by this ruling. Just the time alone is unfair. Is that equal justice under law? BULL****! And White Americans that are not rich and have billionaire friends are being discriminated too. And woman are AGAIN under attack by this extremist court. America does not have to stand for this. These unelected, rich, entitled, snobs, can GO TO HELL!!!
I hope this also puts a stop on the stupid Diversity mandates in corporates, its against merit on every ground. And there is no proof more diversity means better outcomes

Affirmative Action is literally racial discrimination, and I have lived my entire working and academic life under it. Despite being denied jobs based on my race (fact), I have overcome those auspices of racial discrimination. Therefore, would I qualify under the Supreme Courts ruling? Affirmative action is legalized racial discrimination. That is an absolute fact. The entire action should be stricken down. But of course it will not. It will always be legal to discriminate against a particular race. And therein is the quintessential difference between what is moral and what can be made legal. Yes, in the USA, an immoral act can be made legal.

I am so thrilled to know that colleges now will base their admissions on grades and extracurricular activities. I’m happy to understand that to stand out from the rest. The children now will have to get better grades do more after school and possibly have a spotless criminal record. That makes me feel better about these colleges now can we please implement this everywhere else that you’re hired based on the job requirements and not anything else?

I had an American Japanese girlfriend back in the early 90s that grew up just a few blocks from the UC Berkley campus where her father had graduated. She had perfect grades they she was barred from attending because they already had too many Asians! Affirmative action STINKS Performance alone should be the only measure. Suppose your child had just been in a car accident would you prefer a doctor who barely made it and just got in because of race or one that excelled? I am a crappy writer I didn't go to college I went into the Army.
