  2. Ok, let's nip this ludicrous "Woke" nonsense about the "Women's Ashes" in the bud before it develops. The fact is that there is only one "Ashes"; the series played for by the men's team since 1882. The women's series can only be properly termed the "Women's Ashes" if somebody in the UK cremates a miniature urn and the "ashes are taken to Australia", as happened originally. Until then, it is simply the women's series.
