Paying off student debt is fine if only people with college educations are taxed to pay for it.

Payments have been deferred for over three years, with no interest accruing. Why wouldn’t anyone in their right mind not grind it out and pay it off?
She is not taking into consideration that the government farmed out these loans to private lenders. They then let everyone who could not pay the monthly payments defer the payments and added on high interest until they could earn enough to pay. Most lenders didn't give the option to reduce the monthly amount. She can shut the hell up. Most students don't make her kind of income to be able to pay living expenses and the loan payment.
REMEMBER: This absolutely absurd bill, which the Supreme Court made the right decision, is being paid for by US, the taxpayers. This is NOT a gift from Biden and the government!!!!

The past three years was great for those still paying their loans with no interest! Lots of borrows knew they didn't need a bailout, but sure loves the break from interest!
More people are drowning in medical debt than school loans. Why do our politicians focus on relieving debt for people who have every chance to be able to repay their debt? Democrats could win more votes by lying about forgiving medical debt.
