Running across the border just to give birth and claim citizenship is like running into a store and squatting in the aisle to get free groceries. It makes no sense, it IS ILLEGAL, it skirts the Citizenship Application Process meant to KEEP OUR COUNTRY SAFE from undesirables (gangs) and enemy agents. And it's a slap in the face of every immigrant who went through the LEGAL PROCESS to become a citizen!
He didn't say to change the Constitution, he said that the interpretation of the 14th amendment is wrong and can be challenge because the 14th amendment was created to gave slaves all rights as citizens, no for a foreign woman coming breaking the law few day before labor and her child be automatic and American citizen. “And subject to the jurisdiction therein” is in the constitution for birthright citizenship. If these foreigners have babies here… their babies are subjects to their parent’s country and that jurisdiction. No amendment necessary.
