  1. Why is suboxone/buprenorphine rarely ever mentioned? Make it more readily available and perhaps forced usage for those caught committing crimes.

  2. Biden could reverse all damage done ,by his admin.,with the stroke of a pen,to UNDO ALL HIS EX.ORDERS, and go back to trump's plan

  3. Glad our border is secure, so the Fentanyl has stopped coming into the United States (according to Secretary Mayorkas).

  4. Americans killing Americans. Sounds about right

  5. How is it that people aren't worried that the pills they take could have fentanyl?

  6. So, how about expanding Medicaid/medicare to include paying non medication options? When I wretched my back, all I was given was pain pills. I refused, being the child of two addicts. Instead, I paid out of pocket to a licensed massage therapist until my back pain was alleviated because my insurance provider wouldn't cover her sessions.

  7. No wonder Chuck Todd is leaving. This issue of drug use has been talked to death.

  8. Inspections? Not likely. Only .00000001! of all cargo is inspected in the US ports of entry… Tariffs go against free trade agreements. Not going to happen as US companies pay good money for access to cheap labor markets abroad…

  9. Turned off … Lightfoot

  10. War by other means against the US – & the West – neither of which can defend their borders against it any more than they could against C(hinese)-19. Helplessly flayed alive: all the way down to the bone, intend their enemies.

  11. Emphasis on ILLEGAL!!
Fentanyl is used daily in hospitals across our country! People are dying from ILLEGAL fentanyl

  12. And what about people who are dealing with Cancer pain? Having open heart surgery? Limb amputations? CRPS? Well, Tylenol is now given post operatively, people dying in pain in hospice are denied FDA approved opioids because of the fear that they might become addicted? I'm not kidding. Andrew Kolodny has become a millionaire destroying lives, an d he's not qualified. He runs PROP, which is the reason legitimate patients are now treated as criminals, people are being tortured here in the USA, and he makes millions testifying against your doctor if they dare prescribe opioids if you are suffering. 84 yr. Old Doctors are in prison for life for treating their patients, and no one is doing anything about it. The fentanyl crisis was created when the CDC guidelines came out in 2016, demonizing opioids. Cut the supply, and the cartels filled the void when the vacuum was created, but no one talks about that. Billions of dollars in law suits, and people who are suffering are being abandoned by their Doctors who live in fear of the DEA raiding their practices. Where is the media coverage? Those in power have no clue because when they are rushed to the hospital, they are treated for their pain. Sickle Cell patients are dying, people are committing suicide because they can't take the pain, when just a few years ago they were being responsibly treated, monitored and surviving , but now death is welcomed because they have no life. The United States and shysters like Andrew Kolodny should be ashamed of themselves. "The Doctor Patient Forum," is the advocacy group to contact if you are a Doctor in fear of your government. Prohibition never works, and people are dying because they no longer have access to their pain medication. Next time you have a baby without help, crush your finger in a door, have an injury of any kind which needs a trip to the ER, or God Forbid you need surgery, get ready for a Tylenol drip, because that's what's going to happen to you. Why isn't anyone from the media reporting on this?????

  13. As long as the demand is there. There will always be a supply. Blame China if you want. Blame the cartels if you want but the problem is here in the states. If they get rid of fentanyl, something else will unfortunately replace it.

  14. Something Joe said in 1997? I am a different person with different ideas frorm then….Give us a break.

  15. So Vance says Fentanyl is deadly and addictive. How is it addictive if your dead?

  16. I'm a retired nurse and retired chemist what is your problem with patients being out of pain and asleep or being out of pain and being able to go to work or to care for their families what is your problem with that because it doesn't matter what pain reliever a chemist formulas to relieve pain for patients you are always complaining and cleaning patients are something other than patience that require pain relieving medications for pain relief

  17. Chuck Todd, you are better than you have ever been, just keep Uncle Joe out of the negative rant. The piece on Fentanyl was very informative.
Also parents, if you discover pills in your teens possession still in the bottle you suspect are from online, they usually have a pharmacy name on top. The FDA will listen, they will shut down the website.

  18. If we stop swallowing the pills, there is no market.

  19. All important information; yet not one word about addressing the demand.

  20. So the blacks get it coming and going, what a racket!😢😢😢We know it’s not based on reality, it’s the system doing what it does. The crap shoot, so old and pathetic- you can almost hear the suction cup coming… I sure do and I feel bad for the fools.😮😮😮

  21. It’s so disheartening to hear so many ppl skirt around the truth.😢😢😢

  22. We can thank Pelosi giving China the middle finger for the lack of cooperation- she is a killer – her behavior was so Trump-like, I was in shock😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮

  23. Why are you reporting this as overdoses? The majority of deaths are not from addicts!! Most do not even know they are ingesting FENTANYL !! Please us correct Terminology.

  24. Cory Booker has made a great point: you have to solve this problem inside the US. Sending troops to Mexico to address the drug crisis today will sure end no difference from “build the wall and Mexico is gonna pay for it”

  25. When rhe white man lies to the public you don't complain

  26. China not Mexico manufactures the most fentanyll

  27. Who invited Uncle Mammy Lightfoots

  28. The American People need to stop using it. The Problem is not solely on the Drug Cartels. It's the HIGH DEMAND BY THE PEOPLE. You USE IT AND YOU DIE. SIMPLE!

  29. No one made these arguments for Crack users

  30. When did we all of the sudden start calling drug addicts victims? They weren't forced to take Fentanyl. They do it willingly.

  31. I can't say I can actually agree on anything Vance says but this is the one exception, We import entirely too much from China way too much 100% too much it is the one leverage we have If we start restricting that they will take notice but one thing must be remembered they also purchase a great deal from us agriculture wise and other areas and that can't be ignored.

  32. This woman is using half of the words in the Webster dictionary just so she doesn’t have to answer questions .

  33. Vance, name the study that proves causation rather than correlation to unemployment due to outsourcing of jobs and fentanyl overdose. Not that I don't believe it is plausible but because I don't like Vance. I think he turns his back on the poor, addicted, and those in need of medical help in his state by being a Republican and standing for some their ideals.

  34. Actually according to that same CDC data, Native Americans were impacted the most @ 56 per 100k in 2020-2021 – Big Media Still Contributing to Our Genocide!
    https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/databriefs/db457.pdf

  35. Everyone keep asking how we can stop it at the border, but most illicit product are transported via cargo ships and come to our coastal "ports of entry."

  36. It's rogue elements in the government similar to the CIA that are paying the cartels to smuggle it into America. It's their secret revenue system that allows them to have funds outside of what they get from Congress. They are operating illegally outside of congressional oversight. We need to bring secret government agencies back into the fold of legal government with elected officials.

  37. Thanks to Biden and Democrats open border policy, expect it to get worse !!!

  38. The dea has said a bazillion times it's china…. China is behind the drug influx… They are waging a secret war with US.. we just haven't acknowledged it yet.

  39. illegal drug addiction is a criminal activity, Not just a disease. All the family members need to watch their relatives to prevent addiction. Otherwise, to pacify illegal drug use, it will make illegal drug use to be more prevalent and invasive. 110,000 deaths in 2022 is the result from the pacifying policy. Illegal drug use has costed huge financial loss for the United States. Mexico and China governments are happy to supply the illegal drug to United States while China government have the strictest capital penalty law to prevent illegal drug use in its own country. It could be the best interest for all addicts to stay in prisons , not in streets, if they want to stay alive.

  40. So the precursor materials for fentanyl comes mainly from China, and there is this apparent sudden concern about the deaths occuring from it's use. And you might be fooled to believe that is is something novel. But the truth s America and most developed countries have gone through this before. And you might be wondering why does it keep happening. Well it's politics and profits

  41. How do we put a Gangster President who steals from the American people in prison?

When are you people going to put Joe Biden and his son in prison or the electric chair?

Hunter does not look like Joe’s biological son.

Kamala the laughing face will be our President when we put Biden down.

  42. J.D. Vance has the most beautiful eyes! I was mesmerized by his looks. I almost forgot what they were talking about. LOL!

  43. These reporters know what Joe Biden is doing is destroying this country and families, including their families. But they put that paycheck ahead of that.

  44. tax the wealthy and raise the wages of working people and watch as crime and drug usage fall… Hope for a better future is the key to ending high drug usage in the USA

  45. Simple economics.. If there is a high demand for a lucrative product that has unlimited earning potential, a supplier will always be willing to supply said product in any manner possible (legal or illegal) as long as the profits are worth it.

Simple addiction… As long as there is a supplier so mewhere that will supply the product that you want, you will pay whatever price is necessary regardless of consequence in order to maintain inventory.

Because of these… it doesn't matter what sanctions, tariffs, laws or consequences are levied against those that use or produce fentanyl. Unless the USA can SOMEHOW stop EVERY SINGLE gram of precursor from being manufactured EVERYWHERE IN THE WHOLE WORLD…. INDEFINITELY… WITHOUT MISSING A ROGUE LAB… theny the only way to cure addiction at this point is by curing the underlying reason for the addiction. As a recovering addict, I can tell you that although the majority of us maybe tried stuff experimenting once or twice… the fact is that nobody gets addicted by using once or twice. Something else happened in our lives that made us use 3, 4, 5, 6 times, and at that point, the brain and body like it and start to need it. Fix the "why".

  46. Trump had stopped the movement of fentanyl in 2019.

  47. bipartisanship is destroying the US. These people are going to make deals with people, who's only goal in government, is to slant the system to benefit themselves. There is no way you can have a functioning government when an entire party's policies is founded on bad faith arguments. If you can come to reasonable conclusions with people who are actively unreasonable politically you are only going half baked solutions that will never accomplish anything.

  48. Really? No mention of the Sackler family on this and how them pushing opiods is mostly responsible for this mess eh? Just a nebulous mention of prescriptions of them.
