This is very complicated situation, and sadly people as usual get two extremes rather than what’s actually happening. The biggest issues in my opinion come from both sides of the conflict. Hamas and surrounding arab state influence, and then the rise of far right zionism within israel. Theres no “good” side here, just a lot of innocent people being harmed because of two groups of extremist. Trump accelerated it all, lit the fuse. Regardless of where you stand politically, bigotry and hate towards a people ,jewish or arab, is never justified.
As far as Jenin is concerned, Israel ought to extend existing southern walls from east and west like a pincer. During the process, use night vision drones to follow the fleeing coward Iran-Hamas commanders.
Allow the vetted Palestinian families, elderly, and others to leave and be resettled.
As the walls are finalized, bring in 100's of trained dogs to sniff out tunnels and bombs. Employ drones utilizing latest night/infra sensors. Involve enough military manpower for house to house, block to block searches. It will take time. Once finalized and all Iran-Hamas, militia-wannabes are either dead or dead, then flatten Jenin down to its very bones!
Rebuild a nice, beautiful Jewish settlement, plant flowers, trees and construct a memorial fountain over the once Jenin cemetery.
And with Nazareth about 10km north of Jenin, there easily could be some archaeological gems to be had in the neighborhood. Just thoughts from a Texas AF veteran.

Israel was behind the U.S.S Liberty attack (false flag. it was going to be blamed on Egypt) in 1967 during the 6 Day War between Israel and a coalition of Arab states and 9/11 (5 dancing Israelis) as well in 2001 with the same goal in mind: To "trick" the U.S. Military into fighting their battles for them. The only difference is that in 1967 the ship didn't sink so they got caught. (BTW President Johnson "wanted that ship at the bottom of the ocean.") After 9/11 George Bush told us they were certain Iraq had Weapons of Mass Destruction, which of course they didn't.
