Don't think you can get any main stream social media platform for political discussions without it becoming super toxic. Take all the humanity out of the person you are talking to, just leaving the ideas, the misinformation and shock content, and little to no consequences for anything you say while behind a screen. It is very frightening how much political discourse is done through these social media platforms.
