Children cannot consent to their image being online. They should NOT be online until they are 16.
People can be wicked. I don't think minors should be on social media at all.
Even this new ‘what will my baby look like’ trend people are commenting on BABIES privates and pervy joking what they can do with their future.
My mom was very much like cams mom
Parents, STOP using your child(ren) to satisfy your attention whore issues
This is freaking common sense 🙄
What social media being bad?! I could never see that coming../sarcasm. The only social media ppl should ever do is call" real life" get out of the house and stop looking at your phones.
There is no excuse for posting kids i don't care what generation you came from. The "dirty old men" we were told to stay way from are still here only now they don't have to leave home to take pics of you playing at the playground or in the school yard. Adults know better. Idk why some parnets think it is ok to post kids. They know better but don't give crap. I don't post my kids nor do i post my friends kids. Yes i have asked people not to post my kids too.
Drives me nuts how people put kids on social media if you want show your cleavage be my guest but leave the kids out of it.
You should know that dressing your kid up as an adult will bring in people with nefarious intentions, period.
if i see another pic of parents ssharing their baby photos imma puke
I work in the movie industry.. and they have a law where they have to put a % in a trust for that child. Not sure why they don’t have laws related to parents who use their kids for making money with videos. Ick, the ones that pretend their perfect are the most disturbing
This can be considered a form of child abuse
STOP ALLOWING KIDS ON SOCIAL MEDIA! IT IS TRULY KILLING OUR FUTURE
I think parents who share spend more time staging and thinking about creating content than to spend time with them genuinely.
Your children are not content.
another thing that i want to address is when parents share autism meltdown videos. That is beyond messed up and i'm worried that these children's futures will be impacted!
Female solipsism. Pure and simple.
Parents continue oversharing when their children are adults too. I've had multiple heated arguments with my mother about not posting private photos of me on her Facebook page, but she continues to do so. I'm 40 and I'm so over it.
Validation is a hell of a drug
I don’t have social media and I don’t even have kids. This makes me sick. I like privacy for a reason. Some of these people who are YouTubers and just regular people in general showing off their kids scares me of how careless they are
When i see woman in my small town post like
"Carson is having behavior problems! He hits me and cusses at me and says he wants to go back to his daddys house! Im at my witts end! Idk what to do anymore!"
It makes me think theres something wrong with your kid, you're talking about them like theyre defective so why wouldnt i think they are? or that something is wrong with you that you make them act rhat way!
like, if my child has legitimate problems, that is so embarrassing to tell literally everyone youve ever met in your life (aka facebook)
Talk to a therapist about serious things like that, not facebook. People dont deserve to be in your business like that! I dont!
I work on a tourist attraction and i see so many children begging with their mothers for "no more pictures"
“We can avoid them being shown to millions of strangers unnecessarily for no reason” 5:40 she says 😂 if you need attention, have kids, if you need something to talk about, if you are bored, if you like to compete with other women, have children… if you do not enjoy your spouse, have children, if you fear that a man won’t stay with just you, have children, IF you are alone and lonely, HAVE CHILDREN. It’s the easiest way to trap another being from the Big Bang #Soul into a relationship with you by donating a body to them! ☺️ they didn’t have to choose to be born, people… and they absolutely could be filling out soul contracts with higher standards of who will be “raising” their body 😬 but they clearly just want to get in on the action to learn with us… so… we are flawed, learning in hindsight. We are all born knowing nothing, internet has put pressure on us to think fast and learn to evolve faster 🙌👏🫡 I think we are doing well! #DontBeSoHardOnYourself we don’t know what we know until we know it, everything is energy, it’s a learning simulation. We are grateful for those who stay kind to themselves when they mess up and learn from it 🙌 #LeadByExample #WashAwayAllSins #Reset #StartAgain if we knew everything, we would have no diseases or war and we would understand consciously how to choose to be happy at all times no matter what! #GodBless #ILoveYouAllEqually #Consciousness
We all know any ignorant idiot immature person can be a mother.so what can you expect.
I tried to do this social media stuff when it could have been cutting edge influencer stuff, but I just couldn't put myself and my kids out there. I'm also a bit too old for all of it although I got in at the right time. Lost out on money cause of my inability to do stuff, but saved my sanity.
Sad we could never see the consequences of parents oversharing, until we see their kids struggle as adults.
People who use their kids for videos/TikTok is so disgusting.
Good video but this doesn’t mention parents who share with friends and family only. I share a lot about my kids lives (not naked pics of course) but I always share to friends only not the public. I only have 135 fb friends and go through and adjust that often when it gets out of hand. In a weird way I’m hoping that when I pass my boys will enjoy seeing their time hops and having the memories of us. Anyone else?
Not just kids. It's anyone. Don't just post pictures of people. Always ask them. Also not EVERYTHING should be posted. Just enjoy the moment sometimes, even if you do take a picture
The lack of basic intelligence and common sense with todays “todays” adults is appalling. It’s like the average person has the deductive reasoning of a 8th grader.
Humans literally can not handle getting attention. The need for it is single handedly the most destructive need of humanity.
Social media is exhausting
The one thing that I took away from this video is that narcissism is alive and well in this country.
There’s probably a longer version somewhere but this makes it sound like kody was just a demure mom, posing fun family content, that’s it. And that’s not exactly how it was. Especially on tik tok. When you do these things you draw attention to yourself and your kids, and sometimes people try to use your kids to get to you. This isn’t new. And there are many people on YouTube alone trying to push this message out that exploiting children needs to stop. But they still have those that fight against them. Even other “creators” that attempt to sue. It’s frustrating for parents to sit in this day and age and claim they were caught off guard.
Some of us just want to live life without the attention of sharing it live in the moment. Believe me, i quit it all. it's amazing!
Is like reality tv online. Most influencers show their lives to get sponsors for their channels to grow and kids just follow what the parents do.
