Kl injured, bumrah injured, pant injured. All future captain and vice captain candidates aren't in team. Gill and s Iyar can be the options but s Iyar is injured and gill have to spend more time in national side so that's why Rahane became vice leader again and this is a make shift very short time decision. If captain r Sharma gets injured then a solid leader like Rahane can be the skipper in the absence of the main captain.
