A landslide 25 miles south of Los Angeles prompted the evacuation of a dozen homes with even more houses under constant watch. The cause is still under investigation pending a geology report. NBC News’ Steve Patterson has more details.

I feel sorry for the people who lost their homes, but maybe they will think twice next time to "not" buy or build a home on a cliff or hillside, especially here in California.
