If I am diagnosed some day with this horrible curse..I demand the right to be able to end my life in dignity before it gets to the tipping point and just take something to end it, and drift away in my sleep. I do not consider it as suicide, as the alternative is loss of dignity. That to me is the worst and most cruel way to live. Even if you have no idea that you are living as who you were. It is a horrifying reality I can not bear to think could happen to me. I have seen these people in nursing homes. Zero dignity. Its appalling. The families suffer too. Until they find the cause and root it out completely if they ever even can. We are living a lot longer now. If they find something that prevents it its already too late for millions who are heading there right now. I imagine even that wont work or have limited success. I refuse to live like that. its not living.
