Richard Nixon, a Republican, solved inflation through price controls. Raising interest rates works fine for anybody who has surplus cash because they make money from rising interest rates. But the poor who barely if at all can make ends meet from the lousy wages coming from the corporate penny pinching, tight-wade, skin-flint, cheap skate wealthy people have nothing to invest in even a 4.75 % certificate account at their local banks. Raising interest rates is just an exercise in stealing as much cash from the poor working class as possible just as the low interest rate (0.05%) rip-off since 2008 has robbed the elderly of the interest income on savings they depended on in their retirement years. Larry Kudlow, Larry Summers (modern day carpet baggers), the banksters, and the wall street Jeffrey Epstein's need to be put out of business for good. They are immoral grifter conmen!

The first way out of this economic quagmire is to realize that Fox has convinced you that the quagmire is worse than it is while at the same time failing to tell you that the economy is continuing to improve. They are doing this to cast the current administration in as poor a light as possible in order to influence upcoming elections. But if you use your trusty computer to do a little economic research about inflation, jobs, the stock market and other economic indicators, you’ll discover a more balanced perspective. So if you have grown weary of always being anxious and angry, never good things for your physical and mental health (ask a doctor), balance the fear mongering of Fox with better information from other sources. It will relax you and give you a little more faith that, economically at least, things are ok.
