She's the only one that I thought should have ever been released she wasn't part of the Tate night killings and didn't actually cause the death directly of the la Bianca's although she took part the second night she didn't physically cause their deaths in the eyes if the law she's as guilty as if she killed them herself but after over 50 years in prison and only 19 at the time and most likely would have been killed herself if she refused to help hold down the victim ,so she's as guilty and I agree with the law on that but her compared to the other girls involved wasn't near as bad ,I think had she had an out that night without getting killed herself she would have taken it ,now Susan Atkins was just insane she enjoyed killing Van Houten pretty much had no choice so of all them she'd be the only one I'd agree that after over 50 years in prison should get paroled after all this time other killers that actually killed people back in those days have done like half the amount of time she has done so what the hell she's in her 70s give. Her parole and the powers that be must think of her case the same cause she's out.

Leslie Van Houten entered the home of Leno & Rosemary LaBianca on August 10, 1969- after Charles Manson had broken into their home & tied the couple up. She placed a pillowcase over Mrs. LaBianca's head & tied it with a lamp cord. She held Mrs. LaBianca down so Patricia Krenwinkel could stab her. When the knife bent stabbing Mrs. LaBianca in the collar bone, Ms. Van Houten got Tex Watson to come help stab her. Ms. Van Houten then stabbed Mrs. LaBianca in the lower back sixteen times. Rosemary LaBianca was stabbed a total of 41 times. Words were then written in blood on two walls & a refrigerator door. Ms. Van Houten then took a shower, stole one of Rosemary LaBianca's dresses to wear, a leather purse, wiped the house of fingerprints, and ate cheese and drank chocolate milk from the victim's refrigerator. Before leaving, she patted their dogs on the head and left their bodies to be discovered the following evening by Rosemary's son and daughter.
I truly believe the way we "right our wrongs" in our court system is by ENFORCING and SENTENCING all violent and assertions of physical/financial harm to another; no matter the circumstance, if found as malicious and with ill-intent/unnecessary, would face the punishment as sepcifically for the crime committed towards the victim. Eye for an eye so to speak. If someone kills somebody in any fashion, then the fashion that a loss of life had occurred will be paid by the offender as such in regards towards penance for justice. That's what these robots from Butler Tech could be used for. If you get convicted of raping and killing a 4 year old for sexual gratification then I would GLADLY be forced to pay taxes to support this program. Robots don't give two 💩's about your feelings and neither do murderers/rapists/MAPS,PEDOPHILES… So why should we give leniency to them. Eye for an Eye.
Her victims don't have the luxury of breathing! Counseling doesn't do away with evil. Being in Prison doesn't kill Demons! I agree with Newsom for once; she should NOT have been released. Also a slap in the face to the victims families! All involved in her release need to go back and review the crime scene. EVIL. Think of what the victims went through and the life they were cheated out of. They all should have been put to death at the time of the horrific murders!
I love what Sharon Tate’s mother said to Tex, one of the murderers who killed her daughter, at his parol meeting. She asked him if the victims get parole. If the victims get to come out of their graves and walk the earth. It was emotional to watch. These people were extremely disturbed. They not only murdered, they mutilated and butchered these people at two different homes. LaBianca’s son found him. My heart goes out to the victims not these people who came out in song during their sentence. They are not right in the head. You can’t fix that.
Hey… Sixty nine years in prison, that's absolutely ridiculous, yes she did real bad bad stuff, but seventy years dam near locked up…she's way beyond rehabilitated , she's missed her whole life …your a child at nineteen and be realeased at seventy, mind boggling… Just leave the poor soul alone, she has to be so stuffed up it's sad , real sad.
