Pres Biden is unable to think through hard the next moment after what he said has actually happened. That's not the end of the story he's foolishly proposing. And he's suggesting cluster bombs munition that would have disproportionately larger number of innocent civilian population gotten killed in the midst or in the wake of the war, as Iraq situation was any telltale evidence. But he'd not, or refuse to deliver other more effective weaponry to deter Russia's continued aggression or provocation with their missile stock. Ukrainian Pres Zelenskyi demands long range missiles and MDS more advanced than the current installment, and no fly zone, that'd potentially escalate even further the current state analysts point out. But once Ukraine joins NATO membership, the same analysts say, European NATO members and U.S are bound to the treaty for automatic participation if war broke out again. S Korean Pres vowed solidarity with Ukraine upon his unexpected, unscheduled visit to Kyiv, but it's yet hard to fathom what that move would entail for the war prospect for them and for S Korea as well. S K isn't supplying weapons at the moment. Would it get more pressure and responsibility to supply those exact same things down the road, or stick to its current decision to avoid any retaliation from Russia?
Americans have over 200 military bases around China. American spy planes fly along Chinese coast on a daily basis. American warships patrol at Chinese coast constantly. Hundreds of CIA operatives penetrated Hong Kong and causing trouble all the time. And China is aggressive? By the way the top CO2 emitter in the world with only 4% of world population. I would encourage some serious research on this issue. It appears that China has managed to corner the U.S. in a way few seem to understand. Indeed, it could be argued that the U.S. has been in a conflict for the past four years, and only now is the reality of this situation beginning to sink in.
Consider this: China is pushing back on numerous fronts, potentially up to 15, some of which include:
1. Rapid diversification of currency reserves
2. Swift internationalisation of the yuan
3. Creation of alternative financial systems and payment platforms
4. Establishing new trade and financial partnerships
5. Coordinated efforts with other nations
6. Leveraging existing vulnerabilities
Blinken and Yellen, in my view, had limited options, a reality that many commentators may overlook due to subpar research efforts. Given the current state of affairs, their diplomacy, while not necessarily triumphant, was certainly needed. The U.S. public is bearing the brunt of a situation brought on by complacency and a lack of strategic foresight. If we could bring onboard strategists in the mould of Henry Kissinger, we could potentially bridge the gap. But sadly, recognising such strategists appears to be a challenge for those in power.
