Best batting approach in test cricket is to build ur innings and then play the strokes.
Bazzball will only work on flat pitches and against weaker attacks.

Athanaze looks like a really talented batsman who does not only have a solid defence but showed that he has the skill and heart to take on world class spinners like Ashwin and Jadeja.Exciting prospect.
The WI lost that badly because the WI Cricket Board got caught being negligent, the pitch preparation should have been better supervised and tested. Most ground-staffs in the Caribbean do not have the technical know-how to prepare a specific type of pitch.

Mr Bishop has been so sensitive to the troubles in West Indies cricket for the longest time. He knows that they don't have the means to compete but always guarded the image of West Indies cricket. A great ambassador to the Carribean.
