The deal was reached with a Drumpf-appointed AG. In 2019, in the same year Hunter purchased his weapon, the DOJ brought only 478 cases of making a false declaration on a firearms form from 27 million applications. Of those only 298 were charged. If the DOJ wants to prosecute for this, Hunter Biden should not be the exception.
This was not a slap on the wrist, it is completely consistent with similar plea deals for similar charges. A good lawyer got what a good lawyer should get.
Roger Stone, did worse than Hunter Biden. Stone tax evaded $2 million dollars and was allowed to pay it back and avoid criminal charges. Hunter Biden was criminally charged and could face probation, Roger Stone, the top guy to Drumpf skates free.

I am not worried about the security of the people inside of the White House, but I am worried about the security and safety of everyone else outside of it.
