The deadly heat dome hitting parts of the U.S. created chaos at Harry Reid International airport in Las Vegas after several passengers and a flight attendant exited a Delta flight by stretcher after being stuck in triple digit temperatures for hours. NBC News’ Erin McLaughlin has more details.

How much money are they really saving doing this? Air conditioners are stupidly efficient (as heat pumps generally are) and don't use all that much power on the ground.

1: Who's all time "record?" Temps were considerably hotter in the 1930s and 1850s. 2. WTH! Passengers are left sitting in a tin can in scorching summer heat for hours (with no aircon?)! Who does that? That's inhumane and a serious health threat to everyone on that plane. US airline services have REALLY gone down the toilet. They were BAD and entirely unacceptable the last time I flew in the US in 2010. Asians would NEVER put up with that horrible service,.everything from A to Z, really uncivilized. I refused ro ever fly on an American airline again. I fly with an Asian carrier direct to the nearest coastal city and rent a car. THAT'S actually faster and far more humane.

If somebody on there with Covid, that's even bad. Service them flights before they board passengers on them. Service those flights, check air conditioner in this Global Heatwave. I haven't stepped on a flight since 1988, and yes I'm way overdue for a flight to a long vacation outta the country. I have gotten tired of my American peoples, time for me to be around some foreigners who have no ideal of how bless they are to live on a island or a country full of wine, music, fashions, and fine dining, and seasoned men of 45 – 55, yes I did said that. I hope those passengers get well, and everyone stay hydrated, the entire earth is a heatwave, and full of unprecedented storms, stay cool.

Delta does not allow Flight attendants to unionize. They take full advantage of that and work their FAs to the brink of insanity. Eventually, it breaks you. So many are quitting.
This should be ILLEGAL. You get the passengers back to the gate if you cannot take off.
