Makes you ask the question: What, exactly, is the definition of inflation? It's like we're supposed to be glad that the prices stopped increasing….yet are still up 25%, etc., and not going back down to where they used to be. To me, that's sticky inflation nobody should be bragging about. Does anyone here believe the Dollar Tree will ever bring their prices back down to $1.00? Where I live, they're at $1.25 or higher, which is a 25% sticky inflation, and nothing to brag about. Who here got a 25% raise in income?
They keep calling rising prices "inflation" but when corporate profits are breaking records, it's really price gouging. Anti trust needs to break up the mega corps to spur more competition.
