Anil kumble , if india had prepared spun tracks those days like we are preparing now he would have got 1000 test wickets
Ashwin played in DRS era, which was an advantage. Kumble may have taken 1000 plus wickets with DRS. Both are great and match winners for India.

Kumble is a bowler..
Ashwin A step Ahead of kumble Bcoz Ash played comparatively 100-150 matches less than Kumble..
Kumble contributed to the team by Bowling only..
But Ash contributed through bowling and sometimes batting also..

For me, The Best Indian spinner was Anil Kumble, since his 10/74 cannot be obliterated by Ravichandran Ashwin and Kumble was a very capable and Dangerous spinner for India during the tough times of the early 1990's.
