ALL HUMAN LIFE MATTERS! The idea that some lives matter less is the root of all that is wrong with the world.”
― Paul Farmer
This is cruel especially in this dangerous heat ample and even extra cooling and water 💧 breaks should be made mandatory.
Unionize & strike. Companies aren't going to suddenly be philanthropic.
It's too hot for people used to high temperature and Americans are too lazy to harvest their own food. Where is this going?
Terribke but it happens when working outside..you'd be surprised at how many workers I've seen not wearing a hot or doing basic safety stuff.. sad but lack of common sense is too
Heat is no joke.
In the sun for about 10 minutes at 82 degrees felt like i was getting cooked… Only 82…
It's not our fault 😔
I'm sorry but if they told me to go home get rest I would. Figure out the money missed later
Foreign labor destroyed unions, wages, and work conditions and then they turn around and whine about it.
Sounds like he could have gone home and decided not to. On him.
Anyone that works out side knows about heat, exhaustion. You know to take water you know when you need to break. If he didn’t drink water and didn’t stop and drink frequently that his fault yaull just trying to pass the blame to get something out of it and put the responsibility on someone else
America is this whole continent. Or you think Colombes only discovered the USA?
Just set up a cooling station with gatorade/water for all areas of operation in excessive heat🫶🏽🖤1
You always have the responsibility, not "a priveledge", for your own health. Being overweight Is not a responsible choice. Not helping Guatemalan's fight for better government at home. In Florida Helping drive down the wages of Florida's legal residence? None the less any death by heat stroke is sad and has my sympathy. Any death at 30 is too young. Could happen to any of us, but don't blame others for your actions. Farm worker or office worker.
R.I.P. 😢😢
Ron Desantes needs to watch this. The nerves of this man with his lack of appreciation for these unsung heroes. Without these essential workers we wouldn’t find affordable food to pick from at grocery stores. And only undocumented workers are the only brave ones to do these types of jobs for the little money that they’re paid.
Stitts waged war
Sounds like the governor should do something
Water? Shade? Work breaks? A buddy system? Outrageous! This is Florida, not communism!
They always pick the worst looking pictures ong. They did my boi a disservice
Heatstroke ,HELLO 🤦🏽♂️.
To my brothers and sisters of color….. leave that accursed state called Florida. Do not give them the benefit of your labor, your money or your innovation. Let those old saggy white Christian conservatives do their own work for a change. As far as Florida's concerned may ancestors and the Voodoo Mama's curse them and all they touch until they make amends.
This is only going to get worse..as summer temps rise the work will still have to get done and it’s the poor farm workers who will be forced out into the deadly weather..picking might have to be done at night when it’s cooler..farming practices will have to be changed!
That's terrible…😢
Once Ron DeSantis and his faithful Floridiots have chased off those lazy immigrants who pick the food and work in the meat processing plants, REAL (i.e: WHITE 'Muricans will take those jobs that were stolen from them, you can bet that those good old RepubliKKKlans will make changes in the laws to protect "hard working" (WHITE) 'Muricans! 😏😏
DeSantis will probably bus him out of there anyway.
This is sad. People working so hard so we can eat. Doing work most people cant. Bless the people working out in this heat. Employers please take care of them. We're all human beings.
Needless death. The employers need to be held responsible for the safety of all workers. Water, shelter and proper cooling areas should be required. These are basic needs.
🇺🇸 ”Ladies and gentlemen God bless our next President Donald J Trump—best leader in all history” 🇺🇸
But i thought Florida was great according to Disantis in his interview with Jake Tapper 🤔 i guess not.
he should had stayed home, at least he be alive……………
"Water? Shade? Caring about people? Pfft – nowhere in the constitution does it guarantee these things!" – Ron DeSantis, probably.
Not going to happen in Republican run Florida.
This is unfortunate especially since it's true, those who work in harvesting crops, working as either farm or ranch hands. Don't have the privilege to just miss out on work due to poor weather, because your employer will simply fire you for not getting the work done. Just goes to show that one must never take the sun lightly, that no one is immune to getting heatstroke
Don't matter how much you need work this is not the time to be working outside is to hot ok we are talking about 103-106 is just to 🥵
Nothing racist but it’s quite funny that Mr. Obama announced and praised the death of Mr. Osama theirs names have like a one letter difference
