Dont overregulate ai might have risks but humanity faces CERTAIN bad thibgs if innovation is stopped more than it helps overall and ai helps FAR more than hurts now and for a long time altho bad thibgs will most likely be overblown and make them seem worse than the good. But yes looking at it and monitoring and fixing stuff and preparing a bit without harming innovation (or keeping it to a absolute minimum) (which can happen quickls) is smart also to prevent reflexive overregulation.

  2. Its voluntarily its not worth anything. We need to get a handle on it now, if we don’t we will be far behind the 8 ball like we were with the internet. This will fundamentally change society, we need a regulatory body with real power overseeing it now.
