So actor decide that they want paid more so they strike why not when our government violates our rights! Instead of actually helping your country and people your greedy disgusting self can only think of more money? Actors voices should be used on more than selfish cause if they want pity from me!
No one cares
Who cares tell them to learn to Code
Dont trust disney let this be a warning …
Nobody Caaaaaaaares 😴😴
sounds a little bias….oh , no wonder>>>he's part of union. votes galore uncoming.
meanwhile…
Question is: should workers of big corps. like nestle , citibank , hilton hotel's, Apple's get part of companies on-going profits.? or inventors of bio-tech or petrol companies get on-going and future profits. supposedly you're working for the company and not in your garage like steve jobs.
also actually think some of movies coming out don't need to be made…not too good. possibly 25% less movies and focus on better content, maybe. oh oh…less jobs 🙁
So why again should they get paid for all of perpetuity? They were paid to do a job, i.e. a part in a movie or TV show, they did their work they were paid for their work, they don't own that work, the production company that paid for everything up front owns it. Some actors negotiate a salary that gets a piece of the profits, sure, but everyone shouldn't get that same luxury.
I guess its harder for Hollywood to traffick children and drugs when the machine's not running well.
—- ABOVE ALL THESE , AND DESERVING OF OUR HIGHEST HONOR AND DEVOTION . —-
—– WE HONORED FRIENDSHIPS THAT HAVE ENDURED IN SPITE OF YEARS OF ABSENCE AND MILES OF DISTANCE , AND EVEN ENTERTAINERS AND SPORTS STARS WHO HAVE GIVEN US PLEASURES OVER THE COURSE OF MANY YEARS . —–
—– WE HONOR BUSINESSES THAT HAVE SURVIVED FOR MANY YEARS THROUGH GOOD AND BAD ECONOMIES . —-
—– WE LOOK BACK ON OUR OWN LIVES AND SEE " GOD'S " HAND PREPARING US FOR THE FUTURE . WE CAN LOOK AHEAD WITH FAITH THAT IS " DAY " BY " DAY " LEADING US TO ACCOMPLISH HIS PURPOSE . —–
She glitched the moment he mentioned strikes were amendment rights…
Such an awkward anchor, hurrying in front of an interviewee, calling him Anthony instead of Konstantine, when she opted for first name basis.
They need to strike longer. Please.
Nobody cares 🤣
They saying “A.I” so they don’t take fault for all the bs they’ve done did and will proceed to continue doing, they’re under full control already, high power says jump, his sheep ask how high. It’s all in your faces some just too blind to see . WAKE UP.
Interesting that the Burbank Mayor is concerned about the businesses and jobs that have been affected by the strike, yet he has not had that concern over 100s of horse-related businesses and jobs in Burbank Rancho that brings in millions annually in revenue. Instead, he represented the concerns of developers over residents and property owners who have invested in horse properties and businesses that are allowed and zoned in the rancho. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Emcl42uERRI&t=3s
The main break being that they're broke and going to go back to work.
Oh, we can only hope for a breakdown in negotiations and an extended streak. It may wake up the writers and encourage better movies and television content. It's not likely but we can at least dream of such an outcome.
What a time to be alive
If there is this many bodies and this much talents, why not ditch the old structure and start new production companies that pay?
Awkward isn't it?
Democrats fighting Democrats for more equality
HAHAHAHAHA
Use the strike as an excuse to cull the terrible writers. If you think about it, ever since the strike the quality of entertainment has actually increased paradoxically. Terrrible talk shows have stopped airing, terrible series went on hiatus, or are being re-evaluated.
I asked Google Bard if there was a possible antitrust case against Netflix. Here is what it said:
Sure. There is a possibility of an antitrust case against Netflix.
Antitrust laws are designed to protect consumers from anti-competitive behavior. This includes behavior that restricts competition, raises prices, or lowers quality. Netflix has been accused of engaging in a number of anti-competitive practices, including:
Exclusivity deals: Netflix has exclusive deals with many content creators, which means that its subscribers are the only ones who can watch that content. This gives Netflix a significant advantage over its competitors.
Price discrimination: Netflix charges different prices for its service in different countries. This could be seen as a way to prevent competition from other streaming services.
Data collection: Netflix collects a lot of data about its users, which it could use to give itself an unfair advantage.
If Netflix is found to have violated antitrust laws, it could be fined or forced to change its business practices.
In 2021, the U.S. House Judiciary Committee released a report that accused Netflix of engaging in anti-competitive practices. The report found that Netflix had used its market power to stifle competition and raise prices. The report also found that Netflix had used its data collection practices to harm consumers.
The report recommended that the Justice Department investigate Netflix for antitrust violations. However, the Justice Department has not yet announced any plans to do so.
It is important to note that there is no guarantee that Netflix will be found to have violated antitrust laws. However, the possibility of an antitrust case against Netflix is a reminder that antitrust laws are designed to protect consumers and promote competition.
The business should end – no talent
