As San Francisco struggles with empty storefronts, homelessness and theft, there is new hope that a tech boom driven by artificial intelligence will help revitalize the city. CNBCโs Deirdre Bosa shares more on Scale AI, whose CEO is bringing employees back to the office.

Yes if you're fixing bug on the system and upgrading the software. But if your training AI the best way is giving them to Africa India and Asia low spending of money training AI data 1$or 0.5$ person in Philippines . Like image recognition, image labeling for autonomous cars etc
More intelligence than they have now Like all of America diversity ruined it
it will only bring more homeless and crime
Yeah Ai can inhabit all the vacant buildings is SF. AI doesn't need to walk out on the street and doesn't care about human drug addiction.
1B1B cost $3500 a month. Tech companies need to pay way more to support each employer to have a decent life than operating somewhere else.
Indubitably!๐
wait until the employees at that firm got mugged or assaulted, then they'll move elsewhere
Replacing people with ai? Their plan is going accordingly. ๐ฎโ๐จ
Gump should sell shrimp.
…Bad joke?
They'll be okay, though. โ๏ธ
Now I feel sad for the mayor of San Francisco. I wish her own people could've helped her succeed.
My new AI startup is moving to Austin.
PR PIECE FOR SAN FRANCISCO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
Tech leaving California.
She still just talking blah blah blah without addressing the crime and safety issues. She needs to gooooo!!!
This such a stupid news piece.
NOTHING GOING TO SAVE PALOSIBURG.
NOBODY GOING TO SAN FRANCISCO.
No, absolutely nothing can save San Fransisco from it's designed demise! It is a no go zone for travelers. A place to escape for those who live there. And a cess pool to wallow in for those that made it that way. No one cares about San Fransisco and its failed woke ideas.
Hopefully not. Hopefully the techno narcissists will go elsewhere and SF will return to the common folks.
AI chat bots are making people commit sui cide
Ai is why its fked.
LOL ๐
used to be so beautiful,
TECH IS WHAT KILLED SAN FRANCISCO Wake Up! AI will be even worse a SOULLESS SOCIETY
God help us all if we rely on AI to "revitalize" San Francisco. The problems so apparent in The City by the Bay are almost entirely the result of inequality of income. Artificial Intelligence is literally designed and intended to make that inequality much, much worse. It will greatly enrich a tiny handful of people (most of whom are already obscenely rich anyway), while eviscerating the job market for human beings, putting millions out of work and lowering bargaining power (and therefore, ultimately, pay) for many millions of others. That is what is it MEANT TO DO, people! If you think AI will solve poverty, homelessness, crime, or any other problem, you probably also think that setting your own house on fire will solve your property tax problems. Good luck with that approach. Or better yet, wake up to reality before it is too late.
….Maybe they can get A.I. to fix the Mellinium Tower.
thats not what the city needs. its needs a deep cleaning of the criminal element first of all, but city officials dont want to do anything significant. the city also needs an influx of culture, but city officals could care less which the cops have proven at the dolores park downhill event from a few weeks ago. the bay has lost its way.
so crazy how a city that was on everyones list to visit is now the worst place to go i would assume not all of SF is like this
They have enough money, they just need to use it properly.
