  1. I was on an earlier flight on the same day from Milan to London and let me tell you the violent turbulence that I felt made me think that the plane was surely going to crash. It took roughly 40 miniatures for the plane to rise above the heavy cloud that formed around the airport. so glad that the plane landed safely.

  2. Looks like they’re cutting corners in aircraft quality.

  3. Lol!!! The wing shook Violently 😂😂😂 like not even close to what the plane can actually handle

  4. it's okay, those nose cones are designed to be beat up like that. fun fact – you can lose a horizontal stablizer and a wing and still fly 😉

  5. Amazing the engines survived

  6. Hail that flight crew!!! And for landing that aircraft. Cudos to all involved in getting that jet down!!!

  7. I don't want to hear the b.s. about how safety is Delta's top priority, when they left those people on the plane for hours in Vegas with the heat wave occuring, causing people to become ill, a passenger defecate on themself (imagine the odor on the plane), and passengers to panic. Delta puts profit first.

  8. Why did Delta let the plane take off?

  9. Curious how this happened. Airbus radar is really good and weather is displayed on the iPad as well as ATC calling it out.

  10. First of all, why did they fly into the weather? Surely they had a working weather radar and checked the weather of their projected route etc.Pilots are taught to avoid weather – not fly through it.

  11. That’s actually pretty light damage. That nose is a lightweight fiberglass cover, with the RADAR behind it.

  12. My question is, couldn’t they detect the bad weather and avoid the area tho?

  13. It's a real shame that weather radars, satellites and meteorological reports from other airliners have not been invented yet.

  14. Unfortunately, the comment from their aviation consultant was wrong, hail HAS brought down airplanes in the last. Reference Southern Airways 242, a DC-9 en route to ATL as one example of this.

  15. The last so called 'Expert' said, hail not enough to bring down a plane, but it put a hole in nose of the airplane, just imagine what it did to the blades of the engines.

  16. I am beginning to have issues with Delta airplanes

  17. So a little hail storm can do this kind of damage to an air liner, but we're expected to believe on 9/11 that not one, but two of them sliced through concrete and steal to the extent that one actually made it through the building and the plastic nose cone popped out of the other side like a hot knife through butter?!?!?! WAKE THE EFF UP PEOPLE!!!! I wonder how long it will take for this comment to disappear?

  18. Delta shouldn't have taken off with that kind of weather.

  19. I imagine as our climate changes and we get more extreme weather that turbulence will increase in severity?

  20. To all I humbly a kidnapped victim currently have brought my religion society martial art tactics I founded peaceful resolutions to all threats to in the basics of as tangible conscious as worshipable

  21. “Like the wing was about to snap off” 😂 I feel like the safety video should educate people on the kinds of things which are actually impossible

  22. Why am I watching this right before my flight

  23. Maybe this is why my plane from Greece decided to not fly over Italy but rather go through France to the UK a couple of days ago… Phew!

  24. just saw a video few days saying that turbulences are unlikely to cause problems

  25. If looks like cheep construction not just turbulence! What is that front cone made of paper?

  26. Probably caused by a cumulonimbus cloud which ATC should have warned the pilot about and he should have got clearance to avoid it.

  27. It’s ok, Biden said we’re gonna build a railway across the ocean…👍

  28. A terrorist cell of personnel blamed charged trafficked brainwashed surgically altered masses targeted to advance tactically as designed able to individual rehabilitate solitary celled only to

  29. Why would the plane go all the way to Rome?? Why not land sooner??

  30. never noticed how much Italy looks like Florida

  31. At least it wasn’t 110° while the plane sat with people in it. Not Delta’s month.

  32. Another reason to build a high speed train network like Europe.

  33. Blame the economists, they did this.

  34. I won't enter any weather I'm uncomfortable with. If ATC won't approve a deviation I'll just declare an emergency and steer clear.

  35. That damage to the nose looks bad enough to cause depressurization ..

  36. They have no idea how lucky they were to have landed.. Wow..

  37. I know it's scary for passengers but imagine being a pilot at high altitude and got in a hail storm. You kept on wishing that front window won't break with all that hail ice hitting you like bullets

  38. I love when big corporations claim that safety of their customers and employees is their number one priority. WRONG!
The financial benefits of executives and shareholders is priority number one.

  39. WHY DID THEY FLY IN THE STORM???
THERE ARE WEATHER RADARS ON THE PLANE!

  40. Hole in the nose, looks like it's made of cardboard. lol
