As a tower crane operator, this is one of our nightmare situations. If the flames are moving towards the cab, you are trapped. I am PISSED. I can CLEARLY see the apprentice operator on the jib (NOT AN ARM) as it falls. That is a death, but no one is mentioning that. More fake news.

As far as cranes go for a big company to go from 2008 to 2023 without any accidents is actually not bad and crane work is some of the most dangerous work there is and anytime you work with machinery there is going to be malfunctions, breaks, and mishaps and i work and have worked around cranes my whole adult life with both my Grandfather and Dad being Crane operators and you wouldn't believe the cost that these company's have to pay for Insurance on cranes and the insurance cost more than the cranes as far as monthly payments and that just goes to show how dangerous it is and can be
