To me too many parents forgetting that nobody isn't perfect and judging his mom and dad isn't right, the kid just snapped start shooting, now days it's like this if you get pissed off start shooting and I don't know why but giving him life in prison is wrong, too many parents acting like it's their kids life on the line and take your feelings out of it

I think Ethan is enjoying every minute of this and will enjoy it in jail. He's got his trophies already, memories of the killings and the pain he caused the victims loved ones expressed at the hearings. He's one sick and twisted person who should never get out of prison.

His parents abandoned him. They never got him psychiatric help, supplied him with a gun because he was disturbed, and flat-out refused to get him emergency help when they were called to the school about his behavior and writing, because they had more important things to do.
Then he got arrested, and instead of supporting him and advocating for emergency psychiatric care, then ran and hid like fugitive bank robbers.
Parents who ignore professional advice about their child's health or mental health, and then supply them with guns either directly like these characters or indirectly with improperly stored guns need to be held criminally liable.
He needs to sit in solitary confinement for the rest of his life that’s worse than death
