Notice how this "journalist" puts the tone of doom in her voice.
Notice how "journalists" today use worry words in their reporting.
Notice how these people aren't interested in reporting facts (certainly not always reliable ones), but in stoking fears to get the population all anxious (with the ultimate goal to have more people see their ads, of course.)
This manipulation of peoples' emotions can result in both mental and physical ailments (which is why it was suggested during the pandemic that the media was guilty of genocide.)
Make any phenomenon seem worse than how it actually is.
And the sad thing is that there are so many Americans who'll believe whatever their media tell them, from the false "China bad" narrative to the narrative states that, regarding the war between Russia and Ukraine, Russia had invaded because it's a naturally aggressive power (and not because of the genocide of ethnic Russians in Ukraine, or, because of the unnecessary encroaching of NATO right up to Russia's borders.)

The data from one of our buoy that was reported on last week, was in fact mistaken data. The buoy was to be installed off the coast of Florida. However it somehow got switched on two days prior to the install. The temperature reading of 101.1°F was not in fact the temperature of the ocean but rather our asphalt parking lot where the buoy was being held.
We apologies for any fear this may have caused and we will work harder to not report on misinformation in the future.

So misleading . That water temp is probably at slack tide and in the flats and literally a stagnant 2 foot pond almost in the tropics . Cone on . Probably puts off heat from decomposition of seaweed and stuff too .
