So in New York if you have a minor vehicle violation on the thruway, cameras literally snap you going through tolls and mail you the fine. Why the hell are guns, dogs, and 7 officers being deployed for a flap?

The cop with the dog was just SO DESPERATE to be a hero and show the world what a GREAT POLICE officer he was, he made sure the dog ATTACKED! Did you see when the confused dog, ran past the man, turned around in front of the State Police officers, he pointed with his right hand right at the man to go ATTACK him, even though his hands were up in the air! Sorry, he should have stopped right away. He, himself, caused this, he is not a victim. Yes, it was wrong the cop released the dog, and he was fired. This young man now has to be held accountable for causing all of this.

If a cop approaching a private home sees the homeowner's dog running up to him, the officer will often SHOOT the dog without hesitation. Why are citizens not accorded the same level of protection when a police dog attacks an unarmed, surrendering citizen? By rights, that canine should be dead.

The K9 officer should be charged for his intentions to kill the truck driver with the use of the police dog which is clearly observable in this video.
The driver should be charged for not complying with DOT regulations. Not pulling over is a major violation. These trucks are federally regulated. Possible loss of his CDL.
The dog did not attack him cause he was black. Dogs don't see in color. The dog was obviously not trained well and should have never been out there.

So he doesn't want to stop his rig because he's afraid of being shot? Ok so this all started by a cop noticing the trailer was missing a mud flap, so it's well with in regulations for a cop to stop you for that and it's one of the things you as a truck driver are responsible for as the operator of the truck and trailer. It was only 1 cop car at first and it should have only needed to be one cop as you should have pulled over as soon as it was safe but you hiding behind the "I'm BLACK and using the excuse I'm Black and afraid the white cops will shoot me" so you can do what you want has never ended good for anyone…LOL So you failed to stop so that meant 10 more copd were needed to get involved as now you're a danger to the public so now how is all that going for you? I'm sure you violated policy for not pulling over and the truck was impounded along with it's fright that your company has to pay for plus the impound fines and cost of towing a tractor trailer so your out of a job AND blacklisted so now NO trucking company will hire you and all for what, not being a responsible citizen….

Not to mention, he didn't lead them on a high speed chase, he kept it slow and called 911 and his mother because there are dozens of cops behind him with guns, and a dog out. He wasn't speeding away trying to escape, he was going slowly and just trying to figure out what to do as he was on the phone with 911.
