Teenagers that leave home ninety nine percent of the time it's a pretty bad environment. She hasn't even called her family yet. I'm glad the police are going to look into why she left and stayed gone For years possibly all on Her own This wasn't something minor.

Most likely she ran away from home because you wanted to be with her older boyfriend or her boyfriend took her by force and she's forced to say she's all right and she went willingly so he won't face any charges!

She was 14 when she ran away so that means she was 18 when she went into the police station and asked to be removed. I would say she must have had reasons to disappear and wait until she was 18 and unable to be forced back home before she let people know she was safe. It makes you wonder why she went to that extreme.
You pray to God and it took 4 years to find your kid maybe do better as A parent and watch your kid
