The truck driver was wrong and should have gone to jail. If he refused to submit they should have tased him or peoper sprayed him. In that situation there was absolutely no reason to send a dog to maul him.

You have several officers giving conflicting commands. Their were enough officers on scene to handle the problem. This local yocal cop wants to be involved so he decides to sic his dog on the guy. The dog doesn't know any better. The cop deserved to lose his job. The state troopers were yelling not to release dog. Every person in the cops training and chain of command needs to be part of the lawsuit that the victim is sure to file. This needs to be at least a seven figure settlement plus attorney fees. The damages should be paid out of the retirement funds of all officers on scene. The k9 cop needs to be stripped of law enforcement certificates for life.
