  1. IN the extended video,,, the real star here was Dad.

  2. Why was the plate even ran? I saw because it was a certain type of cat; oh so profiling?

  3. I'll tell you what that is a law suit because the outcome could've been so horrible.

  4. The fact that this father ended this convo with “it’s all love” just broke me. It SHOULD be. And yet they could have died for driving out of state in a car that was their own? Jesus Christ. Maybe we need to train our officers a bit. My god this could have ended in tragedy and as it is, it ended in trauma.

  5. Everyone needs to go on unpaid leave until investigation into all the police officer involved is done with.

  6. The guy says that it could have gone all wrong for his family in this situation. In response the officer asks, "Whachu mean by that?" What do you THINK he means when officers have guns drawn and pointed at CHILDREN?!?! She can't POSSIBLY be that ignorant!

  7. This happens when there are imbeciles as police officers, They don't deserve the uniform at all.

  8. head to west Texas the people are very kind (Fort Worth) and it isn't that expansive. because Dallas mostly for the rich and powerful.

  9. All those cops and only one had a shred of decency/humanity and apologized sincerely.

  10. Never trust a cop, sue them, send them to jail

  11. This is heartbreaking! That poor family. Those kids could have witnessed something much much worse because those cops looked like they would have shot that family for the slightest movement. I am so so happy they are safe but I am sure they will likely have PTSD from that experience. I hope the family sues that department and the cops who pulled guns get fired!!!!

  12. Why does this report keep repeating "black family" ??? What difference does their race make? It's in the title, the description, and in the video text overlay near the beginning. It's almost like if the cops said "show us your hands!" and two white hands popped out, all the cops would roll their eyes and lower their guns in unison like "never mind, it's just a white guy" .

  13. This was about as smart as when those other cops, about a year ago, handcuffed a woman and locked her inside a cop-SUV they parked on rail-road tracks and then the train came along.

  14. One wrong move and those cops would have lit that car up. Now imagine that happened and then they check the back seats. Oops.

  15. So I guess just checking the VIN thru the glass wasn't an option, and neither was just asking the driver for license, insurance, and the vehicle ownership/permit. I've heard of cops making mistakes but drawing lethal weapons as the first option under these circumstances just sounds ridiculous and unnecessarily dangerous.

  16. WHY ARE THEY TELLING THEM TO CALM DOWN & RELAX?!!!!?!?!?!?

  17. Were they just randomly running plates?

  18. Why did they run the plates to begin with? A family pulling out of a motel(obviously travelers) where’s the probable cause? Sounds like racial profiling even though the dimwit cop who ran the plate wrong was black too. WTH

  19. They cause trauma and then ask people to calm down and act like nothing wrong was done. I hope this family sue and win.

  20. Corrupt, Coward Police Chief……… help, send more officers, we have no reason, we verified nothing, but we are pointing gun at black innocent family, we will open fire if those kids dont comply, hee hee too bad, city pays lawsuit, we promote the deputies

  21. It’s definitely not all good

  22. at least they apologized. a lot of cops wouldn't have felt the need to

  23. If it had been a white family it would have never been posted. White lives MATTER

  24. Welcome to Texas. Come on Vacation leave on Probation

  25. Million dollar lawsuit!!!

  26. That officer should be fired and that family should file a lawsuit.

  27. "Might be shot!" Yeah, well, so would you pig a few days later as my soldiers pay you a home visit!
