A federal judge has dismissed former President Trump’s countersuit against E. Jean Carroll. Trump alleged that she defamed him by continuing to say that he’d raped her, even after a grand jury found him liable for sexual abuse, but not for rape. NBC News’ Vaughn Hillyard reports.

I never tire of Trumpsters' hopes and dreams being routinely stomped on.
The nine rules for being Trump's lawyer:
1. Charge him at least quadruple for all your services.
2. Get the money in advanced and don't do a drop more work until the next check has cleared.
3. Do not believe a word he says.
4. Do not swear to the truth of anything he has told you.
5. See rule 4 (Seriously! Don't do it!)
6. File whatever papers and sue whoever he tells you (See rules 1 and 2)
7. Craft apology letters for all your other clients assuring them that defending trump was not a political choice and that he does not reflect you or your firm's politics. Say something about how your firm believes that everyone regardless of politics deserves the best defense available to them. And if you are feeling really brave, point out how defending high profile clients allows your firm the freedom to do additional pro bono work and provides it with the resources to better defend its other clients as well.
8. Put aside at least a third of Trump's fees specifically as a cushion for any business you may lose if the apology letters don't all work.
9. Finally, after the trials, arraignments, contempt hearings, appeals and pundant legal "expert" opinions dissecting all the work you did as if they have any idea what it is like to legally represent someone like Trump…
Take a long vacation (see rules 1 and 2) not just from where you live, but from social media and the public in general. Bring with you the people you love and spoil them at least as much as you spoil yourself. Oh and be sure to keep seeing your therapist via zoom.
