  4. Wow that’s insane to think about. I vacationed there at Polynesian shores resort. I was on front street touring the shops. Absolutely insane to think it burned down.

  5. Modern day Paul Revere.

  6. Never ever think you have enough time when it comes to fire because the truth is you absolutely do not. Take this opportunity to look at a fire escape route on your street & community & practice having family firedrills within your home because seconds are the difference between life & death. God Bless Maui ❤

  7. I think at that point…it was moot

  8. Very very sad. Total devastation makes me so sad. I love that town so much.

  9. Lahaina was such a beautiful historical area. My heart goes out to all the residents. I hope the roots of the Banyan Tree survived 😢

  10. He is filming it???? Wonder if he posted it on his Social Media accounts for clicks lol. A major disaster is happening but wait I need to film it. Kids today lol. As for those on those boats the smell of thick smoke or flames didnt clue them in? No warnings from Harbor master or port control, No news or radio coverage????🧐🤨

  11. Why is the guy filming while "warning" people? Can you imagine a lifeguard staring at the 5" screen in front of his face while running towards a drowning swimmer? 😂 He stops at the water to put his phone in one of those plastic zip-lock phone cases attached to the lanyard around his neck. 😂 Amazing

  12. Lucy has arrived!!! Get ready for Armageddon 🎉

  13. Why not just boat away…

  14. Those boats burned at the dock. No one could get to them to take them out to sea to escape the fire.

  15. Karma for the privilege greed

  16. Props to this guy! Must have been a scary time! Hope they put out the fires 🔥 soon. 😢

  17. I didn't know there were wildfires burning inHawaii, so sad!
