LEAVE BOOKSTORES AND LIBRARIES ALONE! This is the dumbest political issue because it targets an older conservative generation and people with low IQs. Every kid has access to THE INTERNET. The things that kids have access to on the internet is 10000% worse than anything you will find in a public bookstore or library.
On a related but not really note… Arkansas porn sucks. They got laws about what kind of porn the porn shop can sell. The porn that is legal is nothing more than Skinomax after 9pm.
The Holy Bible is one of the most obscene books ever written. I assume that under this law, librarians will go to prison for making it available to minors.
Sad people don’t know minors shouldn’t have access to obscene or age inappropriate materials. They’ll probably still get their hands on them but the law sets the guidelines.

ABC this law is not about keeping obscene materials away from minors. It's book banning. Laws already exist that keep obscene materials away from kids. The books in libraries are not obscene. If they really wanted to protect kids from obscene content they would regulate the internet better.
