The news is quiet on how did the boats burn on water
After spending a wimter on Maui its satisfying to see a bunch of better than you snooty rich people loose everything. They have money they'll get insurance money and move on. Maybe that wont be so entitled and spoiled rotten after this experience.
Now would be a good time to pay everybody for their properties through the Hawaiian government, and then by eminent domain, take the island back and turn it over to the native population. everybody’s going to have to build over again anyway so let the non-native ethnicities build somewhere else.

Why hasn’t B. Husain O. commented on the greatest disaster in his “home state’s” history? He claims to be Hawaiian right? Don’t he and Big Mike have one of their ill-gotten mansions in Hawaii?
The native population has struggled. To regain control of their land. And to keep their heritage alive. This is another attempt by big companies. To exploit their land. An eradicate the natives.
Due to this accidental disaster. Lots of landowners will have to leave, and their land will be up for grabs for the big companies.

It seems that the significant dryness was the cause, but the extent of the devastation from this fire is truly distressing.

Our new climate allows the CO₂ laden atmosphere to absorb more water at higher temperatures, which dries out the vegetation to the point of fire tinder. The vegetation burns everything to the ground in high winds, and when the Jet Stream meanders a bit, an atmospheric river develops to cause a deluge equivalent to a thousand-year flood. This is a pattern that will repeat itself for at least 100 years if we stop producing all CO₂ and methane today because the heat accumulated to this point will still decompose the previously frozen tundra and release methane hydrates from permafrost and ocean deposits to keep the temperature higher than normal.
