Gov asks people to open their homes to those who lost theirs…but the government won't give them homes – while billions of dollars keep going to a DIFFERENT COUNTRY. With just a day's worth of the funding for Ukraine, people could be temporarily housed and the town could be rebuilt.

Why aren't tourists being asked to leave the island, considering that so many families are displaced & need a place to stay right now? Tourists should not be taking up needed hotel rooms, air bnbs, etc. Their #1 issue is housing for devastated locals, yet tourists are just going about their vacation as if nothing happened? So weird & icky to me.
