Not trying to be funny but if it wasn't gas.. What could it be? Only thing I've heard of exploding is meth labs.. I doubt it would be thar big of an explosion tho.

Do we know who lived in the house or who the deceased are? Seems little information is given out, but this is easily located in public records. They said that it wasn't gas. For that kind of an explosion, I cannot imagine what it was.

FRACKING? This would make sense if there was a HUGE pocket of natural gas under the house that slowly seeped into the foundation of the basement and made contact with the water heater's pilot light. This would explain why this neighborhood has had 5 houses explode in the last 17 years.
