A North Carolina father is facing murder charges after killing a man who struck and killed his son. Chad Woods, his wife and 17-year-old son were walking on the side of the road after running out of gas when the incident happened. Woods and his wife then fled the scene in the driver’s car. WRAL’s Monica Casey reports.

I would never have left my child's side there laying on the road. The fact the father left his child, took the driver's truck and hid the gun, makes me think there is more to this story.

The guy/kid walked into the street.
Driver stops to call 911 gets MURDERED by a father who didn't keep his son out of the road.
Accidents happen and that doesn't deserve the death penalty.
Dad steals truck and leaves his dying son in the middle of the road.
Charge him with murder and theft and leaving the scene of an ACCIDENT.
Well… he did leave his own child's body behind… so, nah, he should burn!
Son gets killed, father steals truck and abandons his son's body. This father definitely has his priorities set correctly.
In the wake of tRump anything can happen. People are no longer in their right mind when told over and over and over that the truth is a lie and a lie is the truth. Shame on that orange charltan for persuading the most uneducated amounst us and thus so easily swayed. Those that still carry guns and use them based soley as an emotional response can not continue to do so.
If someone is so easily persuaded by a silver spoon fed brat there is no telling who else may lay in their wrath.
When justice fails, an eye for an eye is what remains. This man shouldn't even be charged.

So if I understand all of this correctly, JR dinked Ashley by the side of the road, and when Ashley's father saw what happened, he shot JR. Is that about right? 🤔 Man those accents are hard to understand.
It sucks that his kid was killed in front of him but he still needs to face justice.

What do you expect!? The country is a violent madhouse as completely out of control where people can and do as insane or not anything to everyone, which while not a general principle to teach, lends all the more credence to an unaccountable horror including that dead young man in Tennessee who seemed to understand governing it, since noone in the complexity of a long gone world and way of justice simply or kindly, can! I think we're simply going to have to! live with it until such times as no longer sane or fair in the least might once have ended as correctable to us. However, also as not the law, without going overboard, you also have to prosecute it. I think it has to be seen for what it is. There's a reason behind this inconceivable to what is on the outs both ways, too, regarding safe civility, from a harder but working past of reasonable care as had to be invested, or suffer the state of normal consequences.
