How was this automatically a race issue anyway? Yes, it's almost always wrong to pursue someone and shoot at them, but how is race a factor other than the fact that the shooter and the person shot at were of different races? Does that automatically make it racism? Are there details that the media are not reporting? If the situation were reversed and it was a case of blacks shooting at whites, would there be this same outrage?
