What happened?
The only people who gets to enter into America are crazies. America turns away the good and accept the bad. America's door has been broken for years letting anybody in and anything in. The phase not guilty until proven guilty has to be upheld unless that was the conditions for being allowed into America. A media trail is not the same as a courtroom. America does not want to be on trial because it doesn't want to change. Racism has made this country great and it has stayed that way even with two colors as President and Vice President. Not at the same time is the racism.(hint)
They may need an interpreter and that could be the reason for the misunderstanding with the white lad.
i believe there was some kind of scheme at reeds lake park where this white guy would try to introduce people from overseas to Michiganders. not sure if it was related to this but i always saw him leading foreigners around. they even came and stood next to me while i was sitting at the park by myself, talking loudly like they wanted to strike up a conversation, but unfortunately, i hate many people. probably worth looking into, tho- that park seemed to be a location for organized crime. thought of that since this took place in GR, as well.
They are guilty 100 percent! I want these bullies in jail for life. No parole. Have them experience the US jail system.

I was a hornball 19year old. This happened to me I messaged the scammer lol and deleted all my socials for a month it was that easy. Use your brain kids the scammers are third world peasants who’s should be squashed like ants. Delete your socials they cannot do anything don’t be stupid and take your life even if the video gets out who cares everyone wacks they 🐍.
I DEMAND that social media companies which enable these scams and even profit from them are held responsible for their role in cyber bullying! X / twitter and Meta are toxic to young people. Its easy to blame some small time criminals but what about the company allowing them to reach into our live and get all our friends and familes detail!?

I have only ever met nigerians who were professional scammers. Not sure why but every one of about 20 nigerians ive met were minor crimianls or soon would be. I have no idea if these kids are guilty.

The reporter is wrong, this type of thing happens all the time and sometimes by people you trust. It’s been going on for years.
They aren’t guilty as I predicted because they aren’t the ones pulling the strings. Think about it. Young men probably born into a weak economy were given the opportunity to live a life of safety and security by taking advantage of “rich Americans.” These boys were played and they were on the bottom of the scheme.

Please read the details of the case before judging. This type of extortion is on the rise. Teens and young people tend to be trusting and naive due to a simple lack of life experience. They tend to feel emotions very deeply. They also tend to give into peer pressure. Many of the victims of this type of scheme are younger than 18. In my opinion, we should give them extra benefit of the doubt. We don't have the same understanding of the world at 16 or 17 that we do at 30 or 40, and that's normal. No matter what you may think of the victim, people who perpetrate these scams are engaging in fraud and they should at minimum, be accountable for that.
The reporter said this type of thing has never happened before, police tracking down a cyber bully in another country and extraditing them for their crimes but this has happened. The Amanda Todd case of the young girl in B.C who took her life after being blackmailed by a Turkish man living in the Netherlands. He was tracked down and extradited to Canada to face punishment for his crimes.
Just like India has a scam city, people around the world actually still don’t know that Nigeria is Africa’s scam city, the amount of scam ip addresses I have tracked back to Nigeria is insane

Foreigners are considered guilty until proven innocent.
Their should be an identifier if the IP address is in a foreign country. This would cut down on scammers.
