  1. I worked with one of the victims. Horrific , to say the least. I hate to say it, but these group rides , especially in busy areas, are an accident waiting to happen. You are always going to have different levels of riding skill amongst you. And when one thing happens, it turns into bowling

  2. These entitled cyclists are always riding in a middle of a car lane, doing 5 in a 40. This isn’t surprising at all.

  3. Good, they’re annoying A’holes.

  4. Assume every car doesn't see you. Tougher if they mow you down from behind, if that is the way this happened.

  5. People don't have the rights to drive a car they have the privilege whatever happened to that? I blame the supervision on the street we lack hugely. R.i.p. to the deceased

  6. Car dependency causes this!

  7. It's time they add teeth to the "strengthened" bicycle protection-laws already out there. Furthermore, wherever possible, a wall of robust road barricades should follow the paths of the bike lanes, in order to add another layer of protection against both distracted drivers and straight-up road hooligans. As it is, cyclists no longer feel safe in clearly marked bike lanes, which are, at times, even abused as "parking spaces" by careless motorists [who are emboldened by lack of ticketing for violations].

  8. Inner city bike paths would be great , Fort Smith Arkansas is a Combat Bicycling City Where you ride as aggressive as possible .

  9. Not to say that was the case here until all the facts are out, but where I'm from I see cyclists blowing through stop signs with no regard to theirs' or others' safety. Even cars have to stop so if they have the same right of way they as them they need to stop. May the victims rest in peace, and those who were injured a full recovery.
