A woman saved herself from a kidnapper after she passed a post-it note to a customer at a gas station stating to call 911. Police were able to locate the woman and alleged kidnapper with details on the note and he was later arrested. NBC’s Aaron Gilchrist reports.

She took the time to write the note and hand it to someone. It actually takes less time to just run away. With running away, you are also not risking being caught writing a note or handing the note to someone.
