Was she a woman or a child? Y’all are saying kidnapping and woman? Was it an abduction or a kidnapping? It’s sad regardless.
Even getting into any cab can sometimes be a risk . I was in ER after an accident a few years back and had to take a taxi home. After dropping me off the driver texted me, asking me to "come to him". The hospital arranged the taxi and had unfortunately given him my phone number. This was a reputable taxi co. I should have reported him as it really frightened me.
There is more to the story, and we would like to know how "the two knew each other before".

The two knew each other before the incident? That's a big detail they rushed over. Anyway, glad she's ok cause I think he was trying to take her on her last drive. I NEVER take Ubers! I use an old-school cab company that has been around for over 30 years, and they screen their drivers!

Why is there so much missing from this story?
Apart from already knowing the fake Uber driver, how did she write and get a note to someone in the gas station?
It's possible that she called Uber, he knew that, came by and forced her into the car after zip tying her hands.
Then what happened?
Did he untie her because he just wanted to talk?
Is that how she was somehow able to write a note, walk into the gas station store and hand a note to someone?
Did he assault her after getting her into the car?
What is the point of telling this story so incompletely other than the simple point of warning people to verify Uber drivers?
It's frustrating and barely worth watching such sparse details in what is supposed to be a news report.
